Pick the right style for the job

Script and cursive characters feel soft and personal. Bold variants are great for short labels. Small caps can work nicely in compact headings. For a longer sentence, ordinary letters are usually the easiest to read.

Try a short phrase before posting

Not every app supports every decorative character. Paste a sample into the actual app where you'll use it and check for missing characters, odd spacing or unexpected symbols. If you see empty squares, try a different style.

Remember accessibility

Screen readers can announce stylized Unicode one character at a time, and some copied variants are difficult to search. For important information, passwords, addresses, instructions and accessible content, keep a plain-text version alongside the fancy one. Our copy-and-paste guide covers more troubleshooting tips.

What about cursive fonts you can copy and paste?

Try the dedicated cursive fonts generator, or use the Cursive filter to explore script-like letters, including light and bold cursive options. They're generated directly in your browser. They aren't handwriting fonts you install, but they're handy for a small decorative touch.
